To provide a method for producing a frozen sweet having a stronger tastiness, better spoon passableness and a softer texture than those of chipped ice prepared by shaving pure ice or that consisting essentially of a synthetic sweetener.

This frozen sweet is produced by shaving or crushing a block of ice having ≤1,000 cc volume and ≥10° sugar content.
