To provide a method for producing a functional textile product having excellent deodorant, antimicrobial, antiallergic and antioxidant properties and durability of still maintaining the properties even when brought into contact with water because an active component such as a tea extract, catechin or saponin can surely be supported even on a textile product comprising acrylic, polyester-based or polypropylene-based fibers.
(B) At least one kind of active component selected from the group consisting of a tea extract, catechin, saponin and tannin (tannic acid) is supported on (F) a textile product comprising acrylic, polyester-based or polypropylene-based fibers according to a dyeing method. At this time, the textile product (F) is simultaneously or successively treated in a bath containing two of (A) an auxiliary selected from the group consisting of a reducing agent, a carrier agent, a fixing agent and a cationizing agent and the active component (B) or three of the auxiliary (A), active component (B) and (C) a mordant together or separately therein.
