Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the productivity of a gear with oil hole by forging a circular column like blank into a cylinder like pre-forming produce, installing plural numbers of oil holes of passing through the inside and outside on the circumferential wall of the pre-forming produce.
SOLUTION: A blank 1 is forged a cup like pre-forming product 11 having a bottom part 12 and a circumferential wall part 13 is produced. Plural numbers of oil holes 22 are drilled with a drill in an equal interval on circumference on the circumferential wall part 13 of the pre-forming produce 11. The circumferential wall part 13 is swaged, prescribed teeth 32 are formed and a gear 31 with oil hole is obtained. Because the oil holes 22 are drilled and the teeth 32 are formed, positioning of the oil hole 22 is made needlessly, it can be formed at random, and the productivity is made high. Because the size of the oil hole 22 is not restricted, this machining method can be adopted even for the gear 31 of large supplying oil amount. Because the oil hole 22 is machined on the circumferential wall part 13 without projecting and recessing parts, the life of a drilling means is lengthened.
