Abstract:
PURPOSE: To uniformize the bottle temperature by successively discharging glass bottles of a discharging position distant from an annealing furnace to a position close to the annealing furnace of a 1st conveyor, transferring to a parallelly moving 2nd conveyor having different speed and transferring to an annealing furnace.
CONSTITUTION: Glass bottles are discharged from an IS bottle making machine in the order from the bottle distant from an annealing furnace to the bottle closer to the furnace (6-5-4-3-2-1) and the glass bottles are arranged in the order of (6-5-4-3-2-1) on a 1st bottle transfer conveyor. The bottles are transferred with a pusher to a parallelly moving 2nd conveyor at the same order of arrangement. The speed of the 2nd bottle transfer conveyor is set to satisfy the formula V2=V1-h/t (V1 is speed of the 1st conveyor; V2 is speed of the 2nd conveyor; h is distance between the adjacent discharging positions; t is discharging time difference between the adjacent discharging positions). The glass bottles discharged from the IS bottle making machine and arranged in a row are delivered to a hot-end coating apparatus at the same lapsed time and the same cooling degree to form an SnO2 or TiO2 coating film and transferred to an annealing furnace to obtain the product having uniform quality.
