Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of rust or clogging to facilitate control by embedding a heat pipe in a mold and molding a cover layer while cooling the mold by the heat pipe.
CONSTITUTION: The heating/cooling part formed to the rear surface of a plate- shaped heat pipe 13 or to a part thereof is heated and the generated heat is uniformly emitted from the upper surface of the plate-shaped heat pipe 13 to heat a half mold (m) to perform thermal compression molding. Subsequently, the rear surface of the heat pipe 13 or the heating/cooling part is cooled to cool the upper surface of the plate-shaped heat pipe 13 to uniformly cool the half mold (m). At this time, by changing over the rear surface of the heat pipe 13 or the heating/cooling part from heating to cooling, the heat transmission direction of the plate-shaped heat pipe 13 is changed over. The plate-shaped heat pipe 13 can uniformly discharge the inputted heat from its upper surface being a radiation part at a time of heating operation. At a time of cooling, heat is uniformly taken from the upper surface of the heat pipe to cool the half mold (m) and a mold can be uniformly heated and cooled.
