Title:
PRODUCTION OF GRAIN ORIENTED SILICON STEEL SHEET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3451652
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stably produce a grain oriented silicon steel sheet excellent in magnetic properties by specifying the plate thickness and temp. on the roughing outlet side at hot rolling, the temp. on the finish rolling inlet side, and the condition at the first pass, respectively.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of hot-rolling a grain oriented silicon steel, hot rolling is done under the conditions of ≤50mm plate thickness on the roughing outlet side and ≥1200°C temp. Further, temp. on the finish rolling inlet side is regulated to 1050-1200°C, and further, roll-plate contact time at the first pass of finish rolling is controlled to ≥5×10-2sec. Subsequently, cold rolling is done one or more times to final sheet thickness. Successively, decarburizing annealing is done, and, after a separation agent at annealing is applied, final annealing is preformed. It is preferable that the silicon steel as material contains 0.01-0.12% C, 2.0-4.5% Si, and 0.02-0.15% Mn.
