Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain various greenish colored cements without deteriorating their strengthening property by using a clinker obtained by adding a requisite amt. of Cr2O3 source to a cement clinker formulation having low contents of iron and manganese and burning the mixture.
CONSTITUTION: A Cr2O3 source is added in the amt. corresponding to the desired greenishness to a cement clinker formulation having relatively low contents of iron and manganese, and the mixture is burned to obtain a clinker which is used for manufacture of the cement.
