Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a man hour, to dispense with pointing and to reduce a drawing crack by arranging plural rolling stands which are arranged with upper/lower and vertical type rolling rolls alternately/continuously along the moving direction of a square rolling material at a fixed interval.
SOLUTION: Three cold rolling stand groups No.1-3 are arranged in series at a fixed interval. No.1 rolling stand is comprised of a vertical type rough forming roll 2 and upper/lower rough forming roll 3 for form rolling of the side face of a stock 1. No.2 stand is comprised of vertical type upper/lower intermediate forming rolls 4, 5. No. 3 stand is comprised of vertical type upper/ lower finish forming rolls, 6, 7. When a stock 1, in which a bloom continuously cast is hot rolled to a bar steel, is supplied to No.1 stand of this device, the stock 1, after removing the scale on an outer face, is continuously moved. During this time, the stock is subjected to rough rolling, groove rolling, intermediate forming and finish rolling.
