Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply obtain the compound useful as a raw material for producing medicines.
CONSTITUTION: A β-halogenocarboxylic acid ester having isomers is treated in the presence of a microorganism selected from the microorganisms of the genus Pseudomonas, the genus Bacillus, the Brevibacterium and the Corynebacterium, the culture product of the microorganism, or the extraction fraction of the culture product of the microorganism to obtain the β- halogenocarboxylic acid or β-halogenocarboxylic acid ester having a specific steric configuration.
