Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a producing method of a high concn. ozone gas and its device that ozone can be efficiently concentrated by using a specified high silica ozone adsorbent having excellent ozone adsorptivity even in a system in the presence of water in a pressure swing adsorbing device.
SOLUTION: In the production of a high concn. ozone gas, a pressure swing adsorbing device 23 equipped with plural adsorption layers packed with an ozone adsorbent is used. An ozone-contg. gas at rather high pressure is introduced into the adsorption layers in adsorbing processes 6, 7 to adsorb ozone. In the desorbing processes 6, 7, a concentrated ozone gas is recovered by applying rather low pressure to the adsorption layers. As for the ozone adsorbent, one or more kinds of adsorbents selected from high silica pentasyl zeolite, dealuminized faujasite and mesoporous silicate are used.
