PURPOSE: To prevent squeezing of inner face rubber at a time of braiding and to effectively prevent meandering by pressurization and also to enhance braiding continuity by cooling inner face rubber until the position approaching a mandrel and winding intermediate rubber on the outer circumferential face of this inner face rubber to cover this outer face and braiding a reinforcing layer on the outer surface thereof.

CONSTITUTION: Inner face rubber 2 is cooled by a cooler 3 so as to be cured to the position approaching a mandrel 1. Ordinary temp. or heated intermediate rubber 6 is wound on the outer surface of the inner face rubber 2 just before a stage for braiding a reinforcing layer 5 and thereafter this reinforcing layer 5 is braided on the outer surface thereof. Intermediate rubber 6 is properly blown out at a time of braiding and thereby both the reinforcing layer 5 and inner face rubber 2 are integrated. As a result, impulse performance and braiding dimension are made stable and meandering caused by pressurization is prevented and also braiding continuity can be enhanced.
