PURPOSE: To continuously produce standard-length heat-shrinkable tubes.

CONSTITUTION: A continuous hollow tube T1 expanded to approximately a circular form by a pressurizing force applied inside is passed through between a pair of pressure rolls 1, 1, thereby being run while being squeezed. A squeezed continuous flat tube T2 running is passed through between at least one pair of separated molding rolls 4, 4-6, 6, whereby a pressing force is applied to the periphery of the continuous flat tube T2 to recover the continuous flat tube T2 to approximately a circular form. After that, the tube is cut in lengths for obtaining hollow tubes T4. In this production method, a hollow tube of approximately a circular form can be obtained. Furthermore, since folded lines produced when the tube is squeezed flat or recovered in the process are extended in the longitudinal direction of the tube as a kind of reinforcing part, the hollow tube has a strong nerve.
