Abstract:
PURPOSE: Pressure gas is blown into the unsolidified portions of molten metal in a mold to provide cavities therein, and arcs are produced and at the same time a dusulfurizing agent, etc. are introduced therein, whereby impurities seggregating to the head or inside of steel ingot are separeted and floated, and homogenious steel ingots are produced.
