PURPOSE: To produce the hot dipped steel plate of superior workability by adding Cr and Ti in combination to the low carbon steel and cold-rolling and annealing the same under specific conditions after hot rolling to make it to a plate material then subjecting the same to hot dipping.
CONSTITUTION: The slag of the low carbon steel which contains C; 0.001W0.02%, Si<0.05%, Mn<0.40%, sol.Al<0.10%, Ti<0.20%, N<0.01%, Cr; 0.10W0.30% and is in the relation of satisfying 4(C+12N/14)≤Ti is cast. This slab is hot-rolled under ordinary hot rolling conditions, i.e., finish temperature Ar3 point or more and coiling temperature 600W700°C, whereby it is made to a steel plate. After pickling, it is cold rolled at a draft of 40% or more, thence it is subjected to recrystallization annealing and hot dipping at temperatures of 750°C to Ac3 point in a Sendzimir type continuous hot dipping line. The hot dipped steel plate for ultra- deep drawing of superior soft workability may be produced.
