Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a hot dipped steel sheet having superior corrosion resistance and adhesion by plating a steel sheet with Co, Ni, Mn, Mo, Cu, Cr, W or an alloy of such metals, further plating it with iron and carrying out hot dipping.
CONSTITUTION: A steel sheet is plated with Co, Ni, Mn, Mo, Cu, Cr, W or an alloy of such metals preferably by about 0.01W5g/m2. It is further plated with iron by ≥about 0.01g/m2, preferably about 0.1W20g/m2. The preplated steel sheet is hot dipped in molten Al or the like to obtain a hot dipped steel sheet having superior corrosion resistance, adhesion and satisfactory workability.
