Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a hot-rolled steel sheet having good pickling property by supplying a specific quantity of Ca compound on the surface of the steel sheet at the stage from a descaling before a finish-rolling to the outlet side of a first stand.
SOLUTION: In the process after descaling just before a finish tandem rolling in a continuous hot rolling process, the Ca compound is supplied on the upper and the lower surfaces of the steel sheet during rolling to produce the hot-rolled steel sheet. As the Ca compound, one or more kinds among high basic Ca sulfonate, high basic Ca phenate, high basic Ca salicylate, basic Ca sulfonate, basic Ca sulfonate, basic Ca phenate and neutral Ca sulfonate, are used. Further, the supplying quantity thereof is adjusted to the quantity corresponding to 0.04-30 g/m2-per unit area on the steel sheet wound on a coil after rolling expressed in terms of the Ca total quantity in the Ca compound. By this method, the pickling time can be shortened and the aging of the acid pickling liquid can be prevented and the acid pickling cost is lowered.
