Abstract:
PURPOSE: To eliminate a difference in quality in a molded piece by a method wherein a part of a molding material is injected into a cavity while the cavity is pressurized by a gas of a pressure smaller than a molding material injection pressure, the material is dewatered, and the other part of the material is injected and, thereafter, dewatered by sucking an excessive water content for unformizing a shape in water content.
CONSTITUTION: A cavity is formed by closing a first split mold 2 with a large number of dewatering holes 11 along the wall surface thereof to a second split mold 3 having an opening of a molding material injection port 8 in a molding surface. With the dewatering holes 11 closed, a gas of a small pressure in comparison with an injection pressure for a molding material 4 is forced into the cavity through a gas force feed tube 13. With the inside of the cavity pressurized, a part of the molding material 4 is injected into the whole of the cavity. Next, the pressurization by the gas is brought to a stop, and the dewatering holes 11 are opened. The molding material 4 is dewatered through the dewatering holes 11 by a sucking pressure from the air force feed tube 13. The other part of the molding maternal is injected, dewatered in a smilar manner, and shaped into a required form. Therefore, a uniform water content is obtained in every part of the molded piece, and a difference in quality is eliminated.
