PURPOSE: To produce the titled product, corrugated cardboard which has been bacteriocidally or fungicidally treated is cut into a rectangular shape, and raw incense sticks are placed on the board to effect the primary drying; then the boards are stacked so that the hollows in the corrugated cardboards are arranged in the same direction, and the incense sticks are subjected to the secondary drying with forcibly circulated hot air.
CONSTITUTION: Corrugated cardboard is treated with heat, radiation or chemicals for disinfection and cut into a rectangular shape 80W100 cm long and 20W40 cm wide. The rectangular cardboards are placed on a support such as wood or plastic plate, and raw incense sticks are extended on the cardboards to effect the primary drying until the water content comes down to 15W25 wt%. Then, the cardboards bearing raw incense sticks on their surfaces are stacked so that the holes are arranged in the same direction, and the stack is blocked on the sides through which air is not passed, Air is forced to pass through in the state of antisliding to effect the secondary drying until the water content reaches 5W10wt%. In order to prevent the stack from collapsing by sliding, hard plates are preferably placed on the top, intermediates and bottom of the stack and they are securely.
