Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce the subject composition improved in bending modulus and bending strength in a simple manner without detriment to the excellent properties inherent in the constituent propylene polymer.

CONSTITUTION: A molten propylene polymer, an aromatic vinyl monomer and desirably a carboxylic or epoxy monomer or a silylated vinyl monomer and an inorganic filler are subjected to a melt kneading treatment in the presence of a free-radical initiator.
