Title:
PRODUCTION OF INORGANIC PUTTY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01148739
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce inorg. putty without crack and leanness due to shrinkage by drying, by adding cement to gelatinous highly water-absorbable resin contg. water for kneading or polymer dispersion and by reacting while stirring to release the contained water.

CONSTITUTION: The gelatinous material is obtd. by contg. about 80% water for kneading or polymer dispersion to the weight of the cement, in the highly water-absorbable resin having 150W1000times water absorbency (e.g. acrylic acid.vinyl alcohol copolymer). Then, the gelatinous material is mixed with aggregate (e.g., river sand) and thereafter, added and stirred with cement to react the gelatinous material with strong alkaline component in the cement and to release the contained water, and the water contained in a fixed content is kneaded with the mixture of aggregate and cement.
