PURPOSE: To package products into a box or a case provided with a hinged lid and made of flat blanks and hermetically sealed by winding up a belt conveyor with grooves on which a plurality of suction cups are arranged at every equal distance on a gear positioned, along a vacuum duct.

CONSTITUTION: Blanks 4 housed in a housing part 15 are advanced one by one in a lump through a divider 16 and taken out one by one by a suction cup 17 and put on a conveyor 18 provided with a grip means 19 having suction parts 36 forming a wide recess to be intermittently transferred by a gear 38. After the blank 4 has been cut off along a dividing line 12 at the collar part 13 of the box, the collar part 13 is stuck again along the edge, on the blank 4. Then, side walls 9, 8, 11 and flaps 11c, 9a, 9b, 8a, 8b, 11a, 11b are bent upward along a folding line 5 and thereafter, the flap 11c on which an adhesive is applied is bent by a bending means 30. Also the side wall 8 is bent add held by a pressure member 32. A cylindrically assembled box is transferred by a conveyor 18 and the box is transferred from a conveyor 34 to a conveyor 35 and then, filled with products and hermetically sealed.
