Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for the production of a liquid crystal panel, by which a liquid crystal panel having a cell gap with the accuracy as good as within ±0.05 μm and high uniformity of the display can be easily produced in a short time.
SOLUTION: Two substrates facing each other are laminated with a sealing resin, and in the step S1, a liquid crystal is injected through an injection port by a vacuum injection method to form a panel. In the step S2, the panel is pressed to extrude the excess liquid crystal. In the step S3, a port sealing resin is applied on the injection port, and the pressure is released to allow the port sealing resin to intrude near the first sealing resin. In the step S4, the panel after the pressure has been released is housed in a bag for vacuum packing. In the step S5, the inner pressure of the bag is a little reduced so that the port sealing resin is slightly extruded to uniform the cell gaps of the panel, and in this state, the port sealing resin is hardened and the vacuum pack is released.
