Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the process for the production of a liquid hydrocarbon mixture from ethane by simultaneously carrying out the dehydrogenation of ethane to ethylene and the conversion of ethylene into aromatic reaction in one reactor.
CONSTITUTION: A composite catalyst produced by mixing an ethane- dehydrogenation catalyst containing platinum, chromium, zinc or gallium with a pentasil-type zeolite catalyst to convert ethylene into an aromatic hydrocarbon at a weight ration of 1:4 is filled in a reactor and a raw material gas is passed through the reactor at 400-600°C, a weight hourly space velocity of 1-50hr and a total pressure of 0.1-20atm to effect the reaction of the raw material gas.
