Title:
PRODUCTION OF LOW-ORDER HALOGENATED HYDROCARBON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3821873
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a low-order halogenated hydrocarbon in a stable amount by replacing a halogen atom of a halogenated hydrocarbon with a hydrogen atom.
SOLUTION: In a method for producing a low-order halogenated hydrocarbon in which a halogen atom of a halogenated hydrocarbon such as chloroform is replaced with a hydrogen atom by reacting the halogenated hydrocarbon with hydrogen in the presence of a supported metal catalyst in a liquid phase, a carrier having 25-160μm average particle diameter and ≤10wt.% content of particles having ≤20μm particle diameters is used for the supported metal catalyst.
