Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce high-purity Luciferase from Cypridina hilgendorfi in high yield.
CONSTITUTION: Cypridina hilgendorfi is immersed in a distilled water containing a salt or buffer to extract luciferase and the extract is purified by one or more kinds of chromatographies selected from hydrophobic chromatography, ion exchange chromatography and affinity chromatography.
