Input information needed for calculation of MRP comprises generally a requirement planning or a production planning 2 of independent demand items, order information 3 already released, inventory information 4, demand information 5 of child parts of released order, and parts table for showing the constitution of parts of the product. Output information comprises order information 8 produced by MRP calculation and demand information 9 corresponding to order information as the basic information. A result evaluating part 10 provides a search function and a calculation function for evaluating if the output result of the MRP calculation is reasonable or not, for example, to provide respective functions as alarm for lack of product, trace of parent item, load alarm, graph of inventory change.
