Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing a metal alkoxide complex for obtaining a high-purity multiple oxide maintaining accurate composition uniformity, esp. a perovskite-type oxide of tetragonal system at low heat treatment temperature.
CONSTITUTION: An alkoxide complex having at least two kinds of metals is produced in a mixed solvent of alcohol-benzene and isolated as single crystal in the form of fine powder, needles, plates or films. This single crystal is then heat treated to obtain the objective multiple oxide, esp. perovskite-type oxide of tetragonal system; In particular, for the latter oxide, the above single crystal is sintered where appropriate.
