PURPOSE: To reduce the generation of a deformation due to the repeated compression of a curvature traveling part by forming the metal block of a power conduction belt by the polymerizing parallel by the sintered body of an iron metal powder adjusted in a specific high density.
CONSTITUTION: The block 11 having the groove 4 for inserting a carrier 15 among the base part 1, about roof-like head part 2, base part 1 and head part 2 of the inclined face 1a that both sides in the width direction are brought into contact with the V-groove inner face of a V-pulley, is formed by the sintered body of an iron metal powder. Simultaneously the B-part of the block 11, namely the upper edge near part of the inclined face 1b of the base 1 is subjected to compressing by a mechanical means to adjust it in the high density of ≥5%, compared with the density of other block parts. Consequently the weak point at the operation time of the metal block is eliminated and the durability of the whole conduction belt and the longevity of the block are improved.
