Title:
PRODUCTION OF METAL MATRIX COMPOSITE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0762469
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for production of a composite material hardly causing pore defect even in the case of decreasing the volume fraction of a reinforcing fiber, etc., and having complicated shape.

CONSTITUTION: A mixed body 1 consisting of an org. based dissipating body P which dissipates by heat generated at molding and at least one kind F between the reinforcing fiber and the reinforcing powder which is dispersed and kept in the dissipating body P is disposed in the cavity of a mold. The metal matrix composite material is produced by pouring a molten metal into the cavity, allowing the dissipating body P to dissipate by the heat of the molten metal and solidifying integratedly the metal and at least one kind F between the reinforcing fiber and the reinforcing powder.
