Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of boots for paddy field, which saves labor in producing a fastener attaching part of the boots.
SOLUTION: In a production process of the boots, a slit (Y) is formed on a side surface of a mold body (X) for the boot, or a slit molding member (Xa) having a slit (Y) at the top is mounted on a side surface of the mold body (X) for the boot, a cylindrical material (1) having a closed end and made into the boot is fitted into a slit (Y) of the mold body (X) or the slit molding member (Xa), the cylindrical material is pressed into the slit (Y) with a fitting tool (Z) having a sufficient size to be fitted into the slit (Y) to be temporarily fixed, the pressed cylindrical material (1) is formed into a pleat (3), and a fastener tape (5) is applied to both sides (4a)(4a') of the pleat (3) and vulcanize them.
