Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a bottle can which urges resource-saving, energy-saving, and cost-reducing of a can body.SOLUTION: In a DI press process, redrawing and ironing are given to a cup-like material which is formed from a metal plate with thickness of 0.260 mm to 0.310 mm, so that a cylindrical body 11 with a bottom is formed, where thickness t1 of a thinnest portion 13a of a wall portion 13 that is a thin wall portion is 0.100 mm to 0.130 mm, thickness t2 of a flange portion 14 that is a thick wall portion is 0.160 mm to 0.210 mm, and a step t2-t3 between the flange portion 14 and the thinnest portion 13a of the wall portion 13 is 0.090 mm or less, having a bottom portion 2 and a cylindrical portion 12. In a bottle neck forming process, a shoulder portion, a neck portion, and a cap mounting portion are formed in the flange portion 14 of the cylindrical body 11 with a bottom, so that a bottle can for 310 ml having a can body with can height of 129.0 mm to 135.0 mm is produced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
