Abstract:
To provide an industrially favorable production method of -caprolactone compounds.
The production method of -caprolactone compounds comprises reacting a cyclohexanone compound represented by formula (1) (wherein, R is a 1-4C alkyl; and R1 to R4 are each the same or different and is H or a 1-4C alkyl) with magnesium monoperoxyphthalate at 0-50C substantially in the absence of an inorganic base.
