Abstract:

To provide a production method for a catalyst used for producing, in large quantities, an optically active α-aminophosphonic acid derivative using small quantities of an optically active raw material by a simple operation of few steps.

The catalyst for an asymmetric synthesis shown by the formula (A):La-X-binaphthol complex (in the formula, X is an alkali metal ) is produced by reacting, under nitrogen atmosphere and in a nonaqueous solvent or an aqueous solvent, (R)-2,2'-dihydroxy-1,1'-binaphthyl or (S)-2,2'-dihydroxy-1,1'-binaphthyl, a lanthanalkoxide shown by the formula (VI):La(OR)3 (R is an alkyl group) and one kind of alkali metal compound selected from (VII), (VIII) and (IX) expressed below, wherein the above (VII) is a compound expressed by LiA (A is an alkyl group), (VIII) is a compound expressed by ((CH3)3Si)2NK and (IX) is ZOR (Z is an alkali metal and R is an alkyl group).
