To decrease flaws and cracks on the surface of a green sheet by increasing the after-molding hardness of the green sheet so that the penetration depth is 0.200 mm/min or less.
In producing the objective ceramic substrate, a raw material powder mainly comprising Al2O3 is mixed with an acrylic resin having an acid value of 100 or higher as a binder.
