Abstract:
To provide a production method capable of producing a solid, high-purity cyclic compound or a derivative thereof at a high yield.SOLUTION: A production method of a cyclic compound or a derivative thereof includes: an adsorption step of making a raw material liquid containing a cyclic compound or a derivative thereof contact with an ion-exchange resin to cause the ion-exchange resin to absorb the cyclic compound or the derivative thereof; an elution step of making the ion-exchange resin contact with an eluting solution to obtain the eluting solution containing the cyclic compound or the derivative thereof; and a precipitation step of collecting a solute of the eluting solution as solid. Furthermore, the precipitation step is preferably a step of concentrating and drying the eluting solution, or crystallizing the solute.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
