Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for an electrolytic anode, which allows for sufficient suppression of the occurrence of blistering developed in the surface of an electrolytic anode.SOLUTION: The production method for an electrolytic anode is provided which comprises: a casting step of casting a molten crude metal into an anode casting mold; a cooling step of cooling the molten crude metal cast into the anode casting mold; a peeling-off step of peeling-off the electrolytic anode made of the molten crude metal from the anode casting mold cooled in the cooling step; and a mold-release agent sprinkling step of sprinkling a mold-release agent to the anode casting mold from which the electrolytic anode has been peeled off. In the production method for an electrolytic anode, the mold-release agent contains crystal water, and a crystal water decomposition treatment for holding the mold-release agent at a temperature of decomposition temperature or more of the crystal water measured by differential thermal - thermogravimetric analysis before the mold-release agent is sprinkled into the anode casting mold is carried out.
