Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a mold material for molding coronal occlusion parts which achieves a significant curtailment of working time and a reduction in costs by facilitating the shaping of occlusion parts in the conventional production of crowns, leading to the omission of the conventional straightening work (cutting) of the occlusion parts required.
SOLUTION: A plurality of mold materials 10 for molding coronal occlusion parts are molded by heat press onto one thermoplastic resin film 10'. The press molded film 10' is laid upside down on the surface of a rule base 20 and a positioning protrusion 21 arranged protrusively on the surface of the rule base 20 is fitted into a base part opening part of each of the mold materials 10 for molding coronal occlusion parts to position. A blade 23 is moved horizontally along the flat top face 22 of the positioning protrusion 21 from the side of the fitted part 13 of the mold material 10 for molding coronal occlusion pars to cut off the base part of the fitted part 13 thereby obtaining individual mold materials 10 for molding coronal occlusion parts.
