To provide a production method for a molded product with a frost-formation-suppressed coating film capable of ensuring water-repellency or droplet slidable property of a surface of the molded product with the frost-formation-suppressed coating film obtained as a final product well.
In a fin 11 for a heat exchange as the molded product with the frost-formation-suppressed coating film, the frost-formation-suppressed coating film 14 having the water-repellency or the droplet slidable performance is provided on the surface. The frost-formation-suppressed coating film 14 is formed by coating a surface of a base material 13 forming a thin plate-like shape with a water-repellent agent or a droplet slidable agent in a formation step of the frost-formation-suppressed coating film. On the surface of the frost-formation-suppressed coating film 14, a protection film 15 for protecting the frost-formation-suppressed coating film 14 is formed in a formation step of the protection film. Then, the molded product with the frost-formation-suppressed coating film is produced via a press working step for applying press working to the base material 13 after the formation step of the protection film is performed and a removal step of the protection film for removing the protection film 15 from the base material 13 after the press working step is performed.
