Abstract:
To provide a production method in which optically active 2- methylpiperazine of high optical purity is produced from 2-methylpiperazine by means of optical resolution in a high yield and at a low cost.
In the optical resolution of optically active 2-methylpiperazine from (±)-2-methylpiperazine, characteristically, a process in which the mixture of diastereomer salt of (±)-2-methylpiperazine and optically active pantic acid is formed is included.
