To provide a production method of a pneumatic tire by which when a vent hole is provided in a blade to form a sipe, the appearance defect due to the rubber flow defect based on the vent hole is effectively prevented and the deficiency of a tread part caused by a rubber column formed in the vent hole is effectively prevented.
There is provided the production method of the pneumatic tire T with the sipe in the tread par, by which an unvulcanized tire T is charged in a mold 10 and heated while being pressurized toward the inside of the mold 10, thereby the pneumatic tire is produced. In the method, the blade 13 for molding the sipe is embedded into the inner surface of the mold 10, at least one vent hole 14 is formed in the blade 13 to penetrate in the thickness direction and the vent hoe 14 includes a recessed part 14a opened to the one surface 13a of the blade 13, a recessed part 14b opened to the other surface 13b of the blade 13 and a penetration part 14x narrower than the recessed parts 14a, 14b and allowing the recessed parts 14a, 14b to communicate with each other.
