To provide a stabilization method of a reduction type coenzyme Q10 that is useful for a food product, a nutrient functional food, a specific food product for health care, a nutrition auxiliary material, a nutrition agent, an animal drug, a beverage, an animal feed, a cosmetic, a medicine, a curative medicine, and a prophylactic drug or the like; a stabilized composition; and further a simple production method of the reduction type coenzyme Q10 made from an oxidation type coenzyme Q10.
A licorice hydrophobic aqueous extract and a reduction type coenzyme Q10 are made to coexist, thereby suppressing oxidation of the reduction type coenzyme Q10, and stably maintaining the reduction type coenzyme Q10. Moreover, an oxidation type coenzyme Q10 and the licorice hydrophobic extract are made to coexist, thereby producing the reduction type coenzyme Q10.
