PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of high strength steel sheet excellent in appearance.SOLUTION: The invention relates to the production method of a steel sheet including a step of annealing a steel containing Si of 0.1 mass% to 3 mass% and Mn of 0.1 mass% to 3 mass%. In the annealing, an oxidation treatment of a heat treatment at 400°C to 700°C for 5 hours or more under atmosphere with a ratio of HO and H(HO/H) in a furnace of 1 to 30 is performed during heating from an ordinary temperature to annealing temperature and a reduction treatment of a heat treatment at a temperature of 700°C or more for 10 hours or more under atmosphere with ratio of HO and Hin the furnace of 10or less is also performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
