Abstract:

To provide a synthetic fuel production method and an apparatus therefor whereby supercritical water, carbon precipitation prevention in a heavy oil heating section, and precipitation prevention of an inorganic salt are enabled, and also provide a production method for desulfurized synthetic fuel and an apparatus therefor.

The synthetic fuel production method comprises the step of heating a hydrocarbon fuel at the coking temperature or lower, the step of heating water, separately from the hydrocarbon fuel, to obtain supercritical water, and the step of mixing the heated hydrocarbon fuel with the supercritical water under such conditions that water is brought into the supercritical state.
