Abstract:
To provide zinc foil that is hardly oxidized even in long term storage.SOLUTION: Zinc foil coated with an organic material layer comprises a foil body having a base material of zinc, and an organic material layer arranged on the surface of the foil body. An organic compound contained in the organic material layer includes an atom group capable of coordinating with zinc. The atom group is preferably -CHO, -CO-, -O-, -COOH, -COO-, -N= or the like. The foil body also preferably contains at least one selected from the group consisting of bismuth, indium, aluminum, magnesium, calcium, gallium, tin, barium, strontium, silver, and manganese.SELECTED DRAWING: None
