Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce the subject molding having high modulus and high impact strength.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of reactant streams at least one of which contains a solution of a metathesis catalyst, another of which contains an activator for the catalyst and at least yet another of which contains dicyclopentadiene are combined with each other to form a reaction mixture. This mixture is poured into a mold and subjected to metathetic polymerization in bulk.
