Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a producing method of molten iron in a cylindrical furnace.
CONSTITUTION: A coke packing layer 6 is formed from a furnace bottom up to a level including primary tuyeres 3, and while forming a coke packing layer 6-2 at the center part of the furnace in the upper part of the furnace bottom coke packing layer 6-1 and a scrap and ore packing layer 7 between the furnace center part coke packing layer 6-2 and a furnace wall, combustion assist gas and fuel are blown from the primary tuyeres 3 and the combustion assist gas is blown from secondary tuyeres 4. By this method, since the consumption of the coke in front of the secondary tuyeres is restrained and the secondary combustion ratio is improved, low fuel ratio, high heat efficiency and reduction of the cost can be achieved.
