Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing monoolefines in high selectivity by oxidative dehydrogenation reaction of paraffins.

CONSTITUTION: In a method for producing monoolefines by subjecting a mixed gas of paraffins and oxygen or a mixed gas of paraffins, oxygen and ammonia to a catalytic reaction in a vapor phase and carrying out oxidative dehydrogenation reaction of the paraffin, a substance obtained by partially exchanging a heteropoly-acid containing tungsten as essential element, especially a proton of the heteropoly-acid with an alkali metal cation and/or amines is used as a catalyst.
