Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a multiple oxide single crystal having a crystal compsn. within a prescribed range with satisfactory reproducibility.
CONSTITUTION: When a multiple oxide single crystal having a congruent compsn. is continuously grown from a melt by the Czochralski method, on the basis of the measured lattice constants of the single crystal, oxide or carbonate of a constituent metallic component of the single crystal is added to stock for growing a multiple oxide single crystal and a multiple oxide single crystal of the next batch is grown.
