Title:
PRODUCTION OF MYCORRHIZA OF MYCORRHIZA FUNGUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04190714
Kind Code:
A

CONSTITUTION: Cultured myceliums of a mycorrhiza fungus such as T. matsutake or L. aggregatum, are buried in a sterilized gel such as agar-agar or devil's tongue containing 0.1-10wt.% (based on whole gel) humectant, e.g. glycerin preferably in a state where the myceliums are thoroughly wrapped up in the gel. The myceliums are rooted in a state where the myceliums cover the living root of a host plant, e.g. preferably pine or Quercus serrata Thunb, thus producing the objective mycorrhiza.
