Title:
PRODUCTION OF NAPPED PILE FABRIC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP05247787
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a high-grade grained moire napped pile fabric of different colors having high aesthetic properties by doubling interlaced combined filament yarns of mutually different components, subjecting the doubled yarn to interlacing treatment and weaving or knitting the resultant conjugate yarn.

CONSTITUTION: Yarns (A) and (B) prepared by mutually interlacing single filaments in multifilaments of different components with air are doubled and interlaced with air. Interlaced parts (Z) of the mutually interlaced single filaments have a sufficient interlacing strength and slippage between the different components is hardly caused with tension in weaving or knitting step. The resultant yarn is woven or knitted into napped piles to produce a desired grained moire feeling of different colors.
